Man Up:
Islamic Personality on how to be a man.
Today’s definition of a man and what it means to be a man is very obscured and completely disfigured by today's society. What does it really mean to be a man and “man up.” To be a man in the Islamic sense is to be on the highest moral character. In his relationship with his Allah, Rasul Allah ﷺ, himself, parents, family, and the community at large. He has the most excellent example in the Sunnah of Rasul Allah ﷺ. Being a man in Islam can also be seen and strengthened by the characteristics of the first generations of Muslims, the Sahabaa, who excelled in the various fields of being a man as a salve of Allah, son, brother, husband, father, leader, etc… Lessons, examples, and actions will be pulled directly from the Quran, the Seerah/Sunnah of Rasul Allah, and other authentic books.
This halaqa will be held at the Dar Al Hijrah library EVERY Saturday from Salat Al Maghrib until Salat Al Isha for all brothers 10 years and older (more focused on middle school, high school, and college ages but all are welcome!).
